The Savants of Soul are a 9-piece band who plays original music inspired by the legendary soul and funk artists of the late 60’s and early 70’s. Their live shows bring a similar energy to what was seen in the Stax/Volt and WattStax showcases of the era. They aim to bring the Soul Revue to the modern era. In addition to their original music, they also maintain an extensive catalogue of tribute material from the era that inspires them, from artists such as Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, The Meters, Booker T. and The MG.s along with some more modern acts such as Sharon Jones, Charles Bradley, and more.
